Paul Dewar - Director
Paul’s career started with Bernina New Zealand working as a technician. After 7 years Paul moved to the Domestic Appliance Industry where he learnt his trade doing workshop repairs. He was moved to a Service Technician out in the field. After 8 years of working as an employee Paul and his wife Jo set up Dewar Appliance Servicing Limited as they believed they could offer quality customer service.
Paul enjoys watching sport, movies and never declines the opportunity to throw the rugby ball around with his sons in his spare time.
Jo Dewar- Account Manager
Jo originally had a background in hospitality. She started Dewar Appliance Servicing Limited with her husband Paul in 2001. During this time Jo has studied Business Management and Accounting to further her skill set and benefit the team.
Jo thoroughly enjoys spending her spare time with their five children and two grandchildren. She equally loves a good book followed by a cup of tea and chocolate.
Rhys Dewar - Head Service Technician
Rhys holds a New Zealand qualification as an Auto Mechanic. After several years working in a workshop Rhys decided he needed a change. Rhys joined Dewar Appliance Serving Limited in 2013. His background mechanic skills has added valve to our team and exceptional customer service skills has seen Rhys promoted to our Technical Manager.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his growing family, refurbishing his classic vehicle and brewing his own beer.
Tom Fiddes - Service Technician
Tom joins the team as an experienced automotive mechanic. Tom enjoys learning the whole experience of fault finding and resolving the issue at hand. He enjoys being out and about meeting customers instead of being based in a workshop.
Tom has excellent customer service skills. He is always ready to listen to what is required and get to the bottom of things.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his growing family and working out at the gym.
Anita Williams - Office Manager
Anita joins the team with expectational management skills. Anita enjoys learning, she is always looking to skill herself up.
Anita has excellent customer service skills. She has come from retail so understands the importance of listening to find a solution.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her beautiful whanau, she will often have one of her many grandchildren. Anita is also an exceptional cake artist.
Robyne Gough - Customer Care Representative
Robyne has previous experience in administration.
In her spare time, you will find her with one of her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, in her garden or with her dogs and chickens.
Robyne is our Mumma Bear of the team, she has come out of retirement to help her daughter and son in law with the business.
The Team thoroughly enjoy the wisdom and humour she brings each day.
